You are not alone in your grief. According to a report from the CDC, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the addiction epidemic in Ohio claimed 5,232 lives in a 12 month period ending June 31, 2017 – an average of more than 14 loved ones each day. The families of those and so many others have formed The G.A.P. Network to provide each other with support, advocate for prevention, and give others hope.
If you know someone who has lost a loved one, please share these resources with them. They need you now more than ever. The grieving process can often become complicated where addiction is involved.
