Every day accidental drug overdose claims several Ohioans, and those reeling from the loss of a loved one often can’t find a place to turn. The G.A.P. Network connects grieving families to resources and builds communication channels in Ohio to support advocacy and education about prevention.
This year, we’re hosting regional summits throughout Ohio to bridge the gap between families and community members to experts and resources. Families impacted by a loss of addiction, professionals seeking resources, and community leaders will leave with larger networks, more tools to combat these tragedies, and will gain support from each other.
The G.A.P. Network hosts these summits to give families a space to meet in a larger, yet still intimate, setting. We bring families together for peer support, in an intimate but educational setting, and invite professionals in multiple disciplines to participate.
