Confronting the Addiction Crisis

The objective of the Community Call to Action event “Confronting the Addiction Crisis” is to introduce the community to free educational resources from area addiction / mental health agencies. The event will feature compelling presentations including Narcan training and distribution, “Can You See Me Now?” a simulated teen’s bedroom identifying early warning signs of teen drug misuse, Q & A with Hilliard Police and Norwich Township Fire Department, an introduction to Heartland High School and several other dynamic presentations. Food and refreshments will be served from 5:30 p.m. to 6:20 p.m. and the program begins at 6:30 p.m. The event offers Continuing Education Credits, child care up to grade five (no one under the age of 18 will be allowed in the program beginning at 6:30 p.m.), printed programs with agency information, and over fifteen area agencies on hand to answer questions. Join us for an evening of inspirational presentations and find out how you can become part of the solution to the addiction crisis.
