Finding Calm in the Storm: Managing Sadness and Grief

We receive many messages that we should always be happy—or at least pretend to be. However, sadness is a natural part of human experience, and when we repress it, it can come out as anger, frustration, or anxiety. In this session, participants will learn how to increase emotional awareness and utilize interventions for sadness through research-based strategies that can be used in times of overwhelm.
