The Statewide Prevention Coalition Association will hold its next meeting Tuesday, July 18th, at the Dublin Community Recreation Center at 5600 Post Road, Dublin, OH 43017.
Themes for July: Engaging Sectors in Environmental Prevention, Advocacy, Youth Partnerships, #PUSH4Prevention Grantee Results
Specific topics will include examples of local efforts. We will discuss specific approaches, lessons learned, and provide opportunities for networking. Everyone is invited to bring their own tools or projects to share in the group. This meeting will provide excellent opportunity to get feedback from other coalitions on your current projects:
- Developing youth-inclusive efforts through environmental scans
- Addressing underage alcohol use through messaging and retail compliance checks
- Utilizing partnerships to develop Rx prevention efforts
- Building community assets and mobilizing volunteers
To register, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, coalition name, and indicate whether you will be having pizza and salad for lunch. Lunch is $5 at the door per person. For those wishing to make alternate lunch plans, lunch will take place from approximately 12-12:30 pm. A typical SPCA meeting provides 3.5 RCH hours for prevention professionals.
