We’re currently accepting applications for two positions:

Community Prevention Manager

The community prevention manager will be responsible for managing various projects by assessing the needs, planning, budgeting, implementing, evaluation, and completing all required reports for the projects. This manager will:

  • Oversee the implementation, management, and grant deliverables of the Ohio College Initiative, The G.A.P. Network, and a statewide marijuana education project.
  • Develop strategies, services, and resources to establish and sustain projects and grants.
  • Identify goals and assist with the development and implementation of projects and grants.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to our prevention partners.
  • Oversee promotion and advertising of prevention projects through a variety of means.
  • Coordinates prevention efforts with partners.
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate meetings, events, and activities, including annual meetings, conferences, and other agency events.

A bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience are required for consideration. Preference will be given to candidates with three to five years of prevention supervision experience.

Prevention Coordinator of The G.A.P. Network

The prevention coordinator of The G.A.P. Network manages events, activities, deliverables, and projects associated with The G.A.P. Network and supports other community prevention initiatives. This person will serve as Prevention Action Alliance’s point of contact for consumers, partners, funders, grantees, and agency leadership. This coordinator will:

  • Coordinate the implementation, administration, and reporting of grant deliverables associated with The G.A.P. Network.
  • Supports the planning, implementation, and evaluation of projects within The G.A.P. Network.
  • Collaborates with staff to plan, implement, and evaluate The G.A.P. Network Summit and other major events.
  • Promotes prevention projects, provides technical assistance and support to our prevention partners, and develops strategy, services, and resources to help establish and sustain The G.A.P. Network projects.

A bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, two to four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience are required for consideration.
