Competitive Funding Opportunity Q&A
June 2, 2021
9:30 p.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Ohio’s college and university campuses and their community partners have worked hard this year to keep each other safe. While vaccines are available and there is a renewed sense of optimism, we also know that the mental and emotional trauma associated with the pandemic and returning to the “new normal” will take additional work. The Rise and Thrive Campus-Community Partnerships will be offering $50,000 to 12 Ohio College Initiative member institutions to fund an outcomes-driven action plan to implement a campus-community project that will promote critical behavioral health and mental wellness services to students. In addition to funding, grantees will receive technical assistance, professional development and networking opportunities.
Funding for the Rise and Thrive Initiative comes from the Coronavirus Relief Funds (CRF) and Governor’s Emergency Education Relief (GEER) Funds. More information on how to apply will be released on June 2 on this page, with final proposals due Aug. 31, 2021 at 5 p.m.
