Impact Reports

Our FY 2024 Impact Report
During FY 24, Prevention Action Alliance continued to expand prevention efforts across the state, reaching more communities, families, and young people than ever before. Through initiatives like our Know! Conversation Starters, we provided parents and caregivers with tools to spark meaningful conversations, distributing resources at library festivals, through statewide events like the Ohio Parks and Recreation Association Annual Conference, and directly to families where they live, work, and learn.
We amplified youth voices by engaging students at Advocacy Day, empowering them to speak up for prevention and policy change. Our work with the Prevention and Wellness Academy of Ohio school districts ensured that prevention education and supports reached classrooms across Ohio. In addition, our coalitions and networks (including the expanding reach of the Capacity for Prevention (C4P) grants, the Ohio Youth-Led Prevention Network Youth Council (OYLPN YC), the Statewide Prevention Coalition Association (SPCA), and Community Integration of Problem Gambling Prevention (CIPGP)) demonstrated the depth and breadth of prevention’s reach, connecting leaders and advocates in every corner of the state.
Together, these efforts illustrate how prevention continues to grow stronger, more visible, and more impactful – expanding its presence across Ohio and building healthier futures for all.
