Ohio Alcohol Conference 2025: Enhancing Prevention Approaches for Underserved Communities

Join us on March 18, 2025, at the 2025 Ohio Alcohol Conference sponsored by Ohio Liquor.Ā This one-day event aims to address alcohol misuse through innovative prevention methods and collaborative discussions. Attendees will explore effective prevention strategies tailored to prevent alcohol-related harms while focusing on the unique needs of underserved groups, including BIPOC populations, LGBTQ+ individuals, veterans, young adults, women, and the grief community.Ā  Together, we can develop effective prevention interventions that respect and uplift the voices of all populations affected by alcohol misuse.

Albert Gay - Keynote Speaker for Ohio Alcohol Conference Albert Gay

Albert Gay was born and raised in Gary, Indiana. He was ordained into the ministry in 1994, and since that time, he has worked with youth and communities in many capacities. Albert has been in full-time ministry as a youth pastor, where he counseled urban youth in positive directions and provided them with alternative solutions to the ā€œstreets.ā€

Albert expanded into the Prevention field in 1997 when he was employed by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest Indiana as a Prevention Coordinator.Ā  He received credentials as a Certified Prevention Professional by the Indiana Association of Prevention Professionals in 1999.Ā  While attending ministry school in Florida, Albert worked as a Behavioral Specialist with troubled youth.

Albert Gay is currently the president of Albert Gay Incorporated and managing partner of TTJ Group and of SheRayā€™s & Associates. He provides services to non-profit, faith-based, and community organizations and governmental entities in developing and implementing technical assistance and training services in an innovative and practical format.

Albert Gay obtained his B.A. in English Arts from Hampton University in Virginia and his Master of Science in Management from Oakland City University in Indiana. He also received ministry training from Christian Internationalā€™s Ministry Training College in Florida.
