Description
In this presentation, Pam Lanhart, Executive Director of Thrive Family Recovery Resources—an MN-based non-profit dedicated to supporting families affected by a loved one’s substance use—will explore how we can transform grief and loss into power, purpose, and mission.
Drawing from her experiences as a child of parents struggling, a mother who lost her son to his substance use disorder, and a mother whose daughter is battling brain cancer, Pam will share a powerful presentation discussing how these experiences have not only helped her advocate for the holistic treatment of substance use as a medical disorder but also how she has walked through and healed from her trauma and loss.
CEU: Prevention CEUs will be provided.
