- As we are practicing physical distancing our “communities” are enclosed by the four walls of our homes. This is a perfect opportunity however to show a young person that they are valuable. Let them choose what the family will have for dinner, and then help them make it!
- Keep in mind, youth empowerment is deeply rooted in cultural competency, and no matter the question, decision or thought process it’s always appropriate to invite young people to a conversation that is going to impact or affect them.
