For: Community-Serving professionals who want to present PAX Tools Community Workshops for parents, caregivers, and other caring adults in their own communities.
This training provides professionals such as Parent Educators, Prevention Specialist, Health Educators, and Faith-Based Youth Workers/Volunteers, with the skills and license to facilitate PAX Tools Community Workshops for adults and caregivers in their own communities. PAX Tools is a collection of trauma-informed, evidence-based behavioral strategies for families and communities to use in their daily interactions with young people. These strategies promote the development of self-regulation, reduce conflict, and improve relationships. These are 8-hour live virtual trainings offered in either two half-days or one full day of training.
The total number of participants will be limited to 20
CEU Offerings for this Training
PAA will be offering 8 hours of continuing education in prevention from the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board in the following Prevention Domain
- Prevention Domain 2: Prevention Education & Service Delivery- 8 Hours
- PAA will also offer 8 CEUs from the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist (CSWMFT) Board.
