Questions for Capacity for Prevention

Q. Does an intent to apply need to be submitted for the Capacity for Prevention stipend opportunity or just the application?

A. There is no LOI needed, please review the application materials and submit the SurveyMonkey application by the deadline.

Q. Can the $3,000 be applied to prevention training for new and existing staff employed by a multi-county prevention agency for staff to obtain and retain state prevention certification?

A. The funds should be used to support a new, or grow an existing prevention project or program, while credentialing is important, general staff development not tied to supporting or growing strategies would not be supported.

Q. Could you please share the correct dates for RFP submission, etc?

A. Apologies for the confusion. The dates in the RFP and supporting materials are correct, initially the incorrect dates were posted on our website, but have since been corrected.

The Capacity for Prevention Stipend is made available through Prevention Action Alliance by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services.
